For emergencies, call 9-1-1 The police non-emergency line *TPS (*8-7-7) on mobile or 416-808-2222 allows residents to connect with police services, personnel and programs. It is also the place to report crimes that are not, or are no longer an emergency, for instance if your home has been broken into but no one is on your property.
Motor Vehicle Collision Reports- Toronto Police Service - TPS
The Toronto Police Service only provides Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC) reports for collisions that occur in Toronto. Any reports relating to collisions that occurred outside of Toronto should be requested through the respective police service in that jurisdiction.
Request a Paid Duty Officer- Toronto Police Service - TPS
A new customer request can take up to two weeks to finalize. New customers will receive customer service number from Accounting Services via email. 2. Using your customer number, complete the Paid Duty Request form below and email to Newrequests@torontopolice.on.ca. Security Paid Duty requests require a minimum of two weeks notice to process.
9-1-1 Emergency- Toronto Police Service - TPS
An emergency is any situation that requires immediate assistance from a police officer, a firefighter or a paramedic. Sometimes all three will respond, such as in the event of a serious traffic collision where people are trapped or injured. If you are ever in doubt of whether a situation is an emergency, you should call 9-1-1.
Find Your Neighbourhood Officer - 42 Division- Toronto Police Service - TPS
The Neighbourhood Officer program continues to expand but is not yet available in all areas of the city. If no officer has been assigned to your area, you can reach out to the main phone number at your Division or Key Contacts with your questions or concerns.
Missing Persons- Toronto Police Service - TPS
The Toronto Police Service investigates approximately 4,300 missing person’s cases per year There is no 24-hours waiting period to report someone missing in Ontario Anyone can report a person missing If you are concerned with someone’s immediate safety, call 9-1-1. Lost Property or Identification Resources- Toronto Police Service
Lost Property reports are not actively investigated by the Toronto Police Service and are kept for records purposes only in order to reunite people with their property if recovered. If you lost your property in transit, contact the car service, taxi company or if on Toronto Transit Commission vehicle, their Lost Articles Office.
